Issue Types

The Issue Types tab displays a list of all of the issue types in your Jira instance. The list will include both native and custom issue types.

Columns

  • Issue Type ID: Displays the ID associated with each individual issue type in the Jira instance.

  • Icon: Displays the icon that is associated with each issue type.

    • This column is not sortable.

  • Issue Type Name: Displays the name of each issue type.

  • Scope: If the issue type has a scope as a part of its metadata, this will display “true” and define the Scope Details. Otherwise, it will display “false”.

  • Subtask: Displays true/false value to show if the issue type is a Subtask and a Standard issue type.

Details Area

  • Description: Displays the description of the issue type if one exists. Otherwise, it display a default message.

  • Scope Details: Displays the project ID that the issue type is in scope of. Otherwise, it displays a default message.
