Labels

The Labels tab displays a list of labels that your user community has created in the instance. The Labels area is a good feature because users tend to create variations of the same tag. For example, Labels, labels and LABELS are all treated as different labels by Jira. So counting and tracking labels is one of the more challenging areas for Jira Administrators.

Columns

• Label Name: Displays the names of all of the labels that exists in your Jira instance.

Details Area

• Description: Displays the description of the label if one exists. Otherwise, it displays a default message.
